There are a lot of different kinds of dreams out there but I think the ones that resonate with us the most are the reoccurring kind, and its safe to say that Trystan has had this nightmare before. I'm told everyone gets them at some point in their life.

Strangely enough this whole comic sequence is based loosely off a real reoccurring nightmare a childhood friend of mine had, it bothered me so much I never forgot it.

Personally, Ive never been terribly haunted by dreams, but since I was a child most of my nightmares have concerned tidal waves. Id like to think it's just a product of living near the coast my entire life. But I suppose not all reoccurring dreams are bad, there was a time when all I ever dreamed about was being in Disneyland, man I would love to have those dreams back.
